So I decided to start a blog. Why? I'm not exactly sure. I want to be able to share my thoughts with friends and family and have a central place to keep people connected to what's going on with me. I want a place to talk about awesome things that are going on and also those days when everything seems to be turned upside down. I want to share my blessings and my faults.
I named my blog "Therefore Do Not Worry About Tomorrow" because I've found myself caught up in things lately that I have no control over. I'm trying to work on the fact that everything will work out in the end and things will be fine. God has a plan for my life and it's much better than the plan I have. It's not always my timing or my way, but from many, many experiences God does take care of me. When I have a worry or a problem I've come to realize that no matter how much I may worry or fret about it in the end it doesn't change the outcome. I got the name from Matthew 6:34, which says "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." If only I could actually believe this and live it out in my everday life. That's the challenge, to apply knowledge. There are so many things that I know, but do not put into practice. Knowledge is nothing if not put into action.
